Alowyn Gardens

Set amongst 4 acres, these gardens greet you with a 100-meter arbour filled with wisteria and roses. Separating the area into 6 different gardens, the clear focus is natural beauty and shade.  The types of gardens range from a Perennial border garden, a dry garden or an edible garden to a forest garden, a parterre garden and a display garden, you won’t know where to start.  With a kiosk for the hungry explorer, a giant chessboard in the maple courtyard to keep the kids entertained and a large plant nursery. Be advised, you can spend an entire day here without even trying.

Alchemy Distillers

Adorned with a 1000 litre hybrid pot still, the owners are turning grains into spirits as opposed to bread in this one-time bakery. Located in the centre of Healesville, tucked away down a laneway, Alchemy Distillers have breathed new life into this old bakery. With three core products, you will be impressed with the quality and simplicity of their offerings.  Quinoa Vodka, Chamomile Gin and the much-loved Moonshine with a small variety of batch spirits produced on the side.

Coldstream Brewery

Coldstream Brewery produces four standard beers and two ciders, all on tap for tasting and take-away.  A friendly and casual stop, you can eat in the restaurant with delectable fresh and locally sourced food or just knock back a Coldstream created beer or cider or both!  Making up part of the Yarra Valley Cider Ale Trail, you can skip the rest and stay here or trial all this beautiful area has to offer.
