TFE Hotels Launches the TFE Hotels Collection

Iconic Hotel Kurrajong Canberra marks first property in portfolio

TFE Hotels now has six distinctive hotel brands in its portfolio, which sit under the TFE Hotels parent brand, each with their own style, look, and personality.

As the TFE Hotels portfolio grows, so will the range of individual hotels that will form part of the TFE Hotels Collection, providing guests with More Ways to Stay across hotels and apartment style stays, and More Ways to Meet for those holding events, conferences and meetings.

Hotel Kurrajong Canberra marks the first hotel in the TFE Hotels Collection, an iconic building first opened in 1926 and re-opened by TFE Hotels in December 2014, following an extensive refurbishment to restore it to its former glory.

“As we grow our portfolio, including the next generation of Vibe Hotels and the evolution of the Travelodge Hotels brand, we are also looking at opportunities to develop a portfolio of unique and boutique properties that don’t naturally fall into our existing brand framework.  The TFE Hotels Collection creates the flexibility to encourage this growth, allowing our owners and their respective hotels to showcase their individual brand identities, whilst still benefitting from integration within the TFE Hotels family and our proven successful hotel management experience.

“TFE Hotels Collection ‘celebrates personal style’ and delivers on unique hotel experiences, from iconic buildings, to those with entrenched legacy or a strong heritage such as Hotel Kurrajong Canberra, through to contemporary and boutique establishments looking to make their unique mark, all delivered with the same welcoming TFE Hotels service. Hotel Kurrajong Canberra, now placed within this portfolio, has been refurbished to its original 1920’s grandeur, with 21st century comforts carefully incorporated and its brand signatures have been designed to complement the rich history of that building and its parliamentary legacy. We look to expand this collection with other individual and distinctive hotels in the near future” said Emma Fraser, Group Director of Marketing at TFE Hotels.

Sitting alongside the TFE Hotels Collection in the TFE Hotels portfolio is Adina Apartment Hotels, design led global apartment hotel brand appointed with a range of lifestyle facilities. Medina Serviced Apartments are targeted at families and long stays. For those looking for high-quality meeting and conference spaces, Rendezvous Hotels offers a collection of contemporary and heritage style hotels and Vibe Hotels is positioned as the lifestyle hotel brand, which is designed and inspired by the local destination. For those who want more of what they want and less of what they don’t,

Travelodge Hotels offer competitive rates in convenient and central locations. The TFE Hotels Collection will continue to grow, with properties that will stand alone in style, but still hold the same values and commitment to customer service as the other hotel brands in the TFE Hotels portfolio.
