Australia's A by Adina Arrives in the Austrian Capital

VIENNA: For their European debut Australia’s premium A by Adina hotel brand, has chosen a sensational location on the banks of the Danube River and a home inside Austria’s tallest and most prestigious residential tower with the stylish 120-room A by Adina Vienna Danube primed to welcome guests from 2 April.

TFE Hotel’s upmarket apartment-style brand is known for its smart design and premium finishes, and the flagship property - located in the striking, glass fronted Danubeflats residential tower - won’t disappoint with herringbone parquetry timber flooring, Cipollino marble splash backs (inspired by the famous Aldorf Loos façade, opposite the palace in the city centre) and high-end appliances in room.

In a city renowned as being a living, breathing museum of historical and modern buildings, Danubeflats – designed by A01 Architects in partnership with Owner/Developers S+B Gruppe and Soravia and innovative hospitality concept creators, BWM Designers – is a tribute to contemporary urbanism, complete with the city’s largest shopping centre, high-end restaurants, a show-stopping heated infinity pool with views to the old town, and popular Viennese recreation areas within a coo-ee.

Inside, Australian-inspired touches can be found throughout the hotel - from the luxe Hunter Lab amenities to the smoked eucalyptus and tropical touches gilding the cocktails. Indigenous artworks from The Kariyarra people at Spinifex Hill Studio in Western Australia - installed under the watchful eye of Brisbane-born art curator, Vivian Ziherl - adorn the public spaces. So too, the hotel’s colour scheme pays homage to its Australian roots with an earthy palette, whilst pops of teal, blue and sage nod to the sparkling New Danube river and the brand’s new home in the Austrian capital.

Hotel General Manager, Constance Schrader, says guests can expect an Australian style of hospitality with intuitive service delivered in a luxe and laidback way when they stay.

“A by Adina as a brand merges the sophistication and services of a high-end hotel with the independence and comfort of apartment living,” she said. “Our hotel interiors are elegant, welcoming and detailed in their simplicity, and our service philosophy matches this to perfection.” Schrader says she expects the hotel’s intuitive design, superb location, pet friendly policy and the restaurant’s innovative menu - where guests will dine on an Aussie feast of multicultural flavours, whilst enjoying showstopping river views – are sure to strike a chord with travellers.

The launch of the flagship A by Adina Vienna Danube marks a major milestone for Sydney-based TFE Hotels, as the first of the brand to debut offshore, following its launch in Canberra in 2021.

TFE Hotels’ Group Chief Operating Officer, Antony Ritch, said A by Adina was a brand for discerning travellers who appreciated the finer things in life with additional hotels slated to open in Sydney and Melbourne in the coming years.

“When you arrive at an A by Adina, you arrive expected,” he said. “And you enjoy smart room design, warm hospitality and a space that feels like your own apartment in the city - it’s what we call hotel living.”

According to Sedgwick, the idea of hotel living purposely side-steps any hotel category currently on the market, promising stunning form and function across the private, upscale apartment-style rooms in tandem with everything expected of a premium, full-service hotel and hotel featured design.

“We expect A by Adina Vienna Danube to hold wide appeal across the business and leisure markets internationally, and with Aussies travelling aboard who will appreciate the convenience of premium apartment style amenities for their long haul European vacations.”

With record numbers of Aussie tourists flocking to Austria in record numbers last year* and the Viennese capital gearing up to celebrate Strauss’ 200th anniversary and the 60th anniversary of The Sound of Music movie, the arrival of A by Adina into Austria’s cultural capital is perfectly timed. The hotel is also superbly located in the heart of modern Vienna, opposite Vienna’s old town, and offers ease of connectivity to the international airport and city centre.

To mark their opening, A by Adina Vienna Danube has released a limited-time only offer where guests will enjoy a ‘Discover the A’ room-only offer from €179 per night in a Studio Queen apartment, including a complimentary glass of Australian sparkling. Book via abyadina.com. Ends.
