The Morning

Living up to it's name, Good Things is a small yet undeniably delicious breakfast spot hidden in the suburbs of Mosman Park. The best thing on the menu? The Caramelised Banana-Nut Hotcakes with honey, labneh and optional Maple Bacon. Widely considered on of the best brekkie spots in the city.

Travel Secret: If you're in Perth on a Saturday, head to the Perth City Farmer's Market for some of the best local, organic and biodynamic produce. Pick up your favourites then settle in at the City Farm Cafe for incredible breakfast.

After breakfast, head back towards the CBD and into Kings Park. Take one of the many trail walks to discover the history and culture embedded in Perth. The park is home to 319 species of native plants plus is an Aboriginal sacred site. There are 8 trails you can follow, ranging from 15 minutes to over an hour. Plus, the park has just about the best view over the city you can get. For lunch? Eat your way down Beaufort Street! This strip in Mount Lawley is home to some of Perth's best foodie hot spots. From fine-dining Thai restaurants to casual cafes and health-focused eateries, Beaufort is sure to satisfy any craving.

The Afternoon

Follow the Streets of Perth map to find the best of the best street art around the city. From murals to sculptures, there is always something new popping up around the city. Northbridge, Highgate and Leederville are all street art hot spots but you will always find some hidden in a laneway or up for all to see on a skyscraper at every turn.

The Evening

Head down to Elizabeth Quay, Perth's social hub. There are incredible views of the Swan River, a playground for the kids and cool light shows once the sun goes down. For dinner? Eat in at The Revelery, combining a casual ground floor eatery, second floor restaurant and Henry's Rooftop, all serving great food with even better views.

After you've eaten, head into the city to find Bob's Bar atop the old West Australian print factory. This is Perth history at it's best - named after former Prime Minister Bob Hawke, the bar even has his famous America's Cup quote as a neon sign on the wall.
