Our ACADEME Fast Track Management programs brings together the cream of the crop from TFE Hotels, developing their personal leadership qualities and outstanding skills, transforming the way they think, work, interact and live. Participants learn how to create a culture that attracts, engages and empowers the best people across all areas of our business.

The three Fast Track Leadership programs are:

  • Future Leaders Program
  • Management Leadership Program
  • Senior Management Leadership Program

Each Program features a four pillars approach to development:

  1. Competency based on the Job Learning - 12 month work based, competency driven programs, designed to improve operational capability.
  2. One-on-One Mentoring with a Senior Leader - Participants are mentored one-on-one, throughout the year, by a member of the TFE Hotels Senior Leadership Team.
  3. Professional Development Workshops - Participants complete a series of one day workshops, throughout the year, to develop personal leadership qualities and target outstanding skills.
  4. Work-Based Projects and Final Presentations - Participants will work on work-based projects based on the TFE Hotels Balanced Scorecard and will be required to present an appropriate case study, clearly demonstrating one or more of the five tenets of Leadership, as expressed in Kouzes and Posner’s Leadership Challenge.®


Our QUALIFYME programs provide opportunities for Team Members to gain nationally recognised qualifications during their career at TFE Hotels.
We partner with some of Australia’s leading training organisations to deliver best-in-class learning leading to hospitality and business qualifications.

The Certificate III in Hospitality offers a fantastic opportunity for those needing the necessary skills to kick off their hospitality career and for Team Members who already have some experience in the industry. Certificate III will provide you with the skills you need to work your way into supervisory and more senior roles. Within the Certificate III in Hospitality, there are 16 units that must be completed, which are offered in four stream options:

  • Front Office
  • Restaurant
  • Bar
  • Housekeeping


The Certificate IV in Frontline Management offers supervisors and managers the opportunity to further expand their skills in managing individuals and teams. This course will aid your career path, by having a recognised management qualification that strengthens your skills in your current role, whilst creating future opportunities. To achieve a Certificate IV in Frontline Management, there are 10 units that must be completed, offered in three stream options:

  • People Management
  • Finance
  • Human Resources
